Something very odd emerges for the second month in a row when looking at the July payrolls report.
Note, fudging statistics became something rather commonplace in the USSR in the years right before the USSR collapsed and shattered. The US government appears to be increasingly fudging statistics just as the USSR did in the late 1980s, 1990 and 1991.
